Community Service Night
Join us this giving season to fill backpacks with comfort and personal care items for youth entering foster care. We ask that everyone sign up their RPES student to attend Session 1 or Session 2 - PLEASE GET A TICKET ONLY FOR YOUR RPES STUDENT.

About the event
Community Service Night is back! This annual event supports an incredible organization, Comfort Cases—founded right here in Montgomery County and now helping children nationwide. Their mission is to provide dignity and hope to youth entering foster care.
What’s a Comfort Case?
Comfort Cases are backpacks filled with comfort and personal care items for youth entering the foster care system. Typically, children are given a trash bag to pack up their belongings when they are removed from their homes. We are working to end this practice while providing the essentials for a child’s first few days in foster care.
Community Service Night 2025 goal is to pack 100 Comfort Case backpacks.
